More importantly, we propose a modified model order reduction technique to obtain a dispersion curve over a wide frequency band from the single-point result. This saves a lot of time in the analysis of waveguide eigen-mode problems. We analyze five lossless and lossy structures in this thesis. The numerical results from their reduced-order models are quite consistent with the direct solutions at each frequency point, analytical solutions, and those computed by a commercial electromagnetic simulator. |
