Authors: | 陳俊雄 | Keywords: | 單面電路;集總元件;混波器;Uniplanar circuit;lumped element;mixer | Issue Date: | 31-Jul-2005 | Publisher: | 臺北市:國立臺灣大學電信工程學研究所 | Abstract: | 為了發展毫米波無線通訊收發系統之關 鍵元組件,本研究擬開發電路設計用模型以及 電路分析用程式集,以探討具有集總元件之單 面電路,並達成有效設計與模擬各類單面電路 的研發目標。 本研究的內容包括:設計用等效電路模型 的建立,分析用程式集的完成,再結合理論分 析與實驗量測,來進行新型單面混波器以及相 關組件的開發與詳盡探討工作。 第一年研究特以混合積分方程及動差法 為基礎,以等效電流源接點法為輔,建立一套 頻域全波分析模型,用以探討含集總元件之單 面電路,並以晶片電容、螺旋電感、以及主動 天線電路為例,來驗証此全波分析模型的可用 性。 第二年的研究目標為提出一種新式的改良 型短路開路參數萃取法,擴充上年度開發完成 的全波分析程式,使其能應用於非線性電路的 設計與分析上,並依此分析及設計混波器之各 項主要組件,進而了解各組件之多模態頻率響 應。 第三年研究(本計畫的最終目標)為:應用 前兩年所建立之單面電路全波分析程式以及 相關組件模型,來完成被動式與主動式單面混 波器的設計與研製工作。 The purpose of this investigation is to develop and study the uniplanar circuits with lumped elements so as to establish the key-component technologies for millimeter-wave wireless communication systems. The goal is to establish suitable equivalent circuit models for practical design and associated fullwave computer software for circuit simulation. In this study, the uniplanar circuits with linear and nonlinear lumped elements are investigated in detail. Specifically, several novel uniplanar mixers and related components are proposed and their properties are carefully examined, both theoretically and experimentally. In the first-year research, a fullwave analysis model for uniplanar circuits with lumped elements is proposed. The passive distributed parts are analyzed by the mixed-potential integral-equation based moment method, and the connection between distributed parts and lumped elements is treated by the current-source port concept. In the first-year study, the fullwave analysis model is tested by applying it to the problems with chip capacitor, spiral inductor, and active slot antenna. In the second-year research, an extended short-open calibration technique is proposed to handle the multimode conversion phenomenon associated with the uniplanar circuit discontinuities. By combining this calibration technique with the previously developed fullwave analysis model, one can establish an extended model to analyze both linear and nonlinear circuits. Specifically, three basic components of uniplanar mixer are analyzed and designed by this extended model. In the third-year research, the ultimate target is to use the equivalent-circuit models and fullwave computer software developed in the past two years to implement the various uniplanar circuits. Specifically, several novel passive and active uniplanar mixers and related components are proposed and their properties are carefully examined, both theoretically and experimentally. |
