Persistent post-PCI angina is a common symptom. We report on a 66-year-old man who had intense chest tightness after drug -eluting stent implantation in the left anterior descending artery and balloon dilatation in the OM1 branch of the left circumflex artery. Because the patient’smyocardial perfusion imaging performed 16 days after PCI revealed much worse ischemic condition than the pre-PCI myocardial perfusion imaging did, he received an emergent cardiac catheterization the next day. However, no subacute stent thrombosis or intrastent restenosis was found. |
