Method of moments is used to solve the integral equations for the transmission cross sections. The effects of slot geometry, filling permittivity, and filling conductivity are studied. It is found that the penetrating field is mainly determined by the slot length, filling permittivity, and filling conductivity. Resonances are also observed when the slot length is integer multiplies of half wavelengths. |
