Basing upon the single-solid concept, the material properties of the laminar are modeled by stepwise-variable functions. The governing differential equations of the relevant elasticity problems are obtained by means of the technique of generalized derivatives. By making use of the direct integration method, the governing equations with stepwise-variable coefficients are reduced to the solution of Volterra integral equations of second kind with corresponding local and integral boundary conditions. The solutions to the latter equations are constructed in an explicit analytical form by making use of the resolvent-kernel technique. The effect of layer inhomogeneity is analyzed along with the effect of the material discontinuity on the interfaces of neighboring layers. ? 2017 ICF 2017 - 14th International Conference on Fracture.
