It aims to quickly verify filter characteristics of the Q factor, bandpass bandwidth, and order, which are integrated into the antenna architecture in a cascading fashion. The developed software tool can be used to reduce the design cycle time of antennas and also predict the filtering performance. It applies to problems of filtering antenna design using cascaded connections of multiple n-order filters. This method is validated and adopted to design a filtering antenna at 110 GHz, where the antenna is integrated with two three-order bandpass filters. The simulated result shows a broad frequency bandwidth with good filtering effects. ? 2021 IEEE. |
