Although ACDF relieves clinical symptoms, it is associated with several complications such as pseudoarthrosis and adjacent segment degeneration. The concept of dynamic fusion has been proposed to enhance fusion and reduce implant subsidence rate and post-fusion stiffness; this pilot preclinical animal study was conducted to begin to compare rigid and dynamic fusion in ACDF. |
