The primary objective is to ensure mass conservation and accurate capture of interface topology. To achieve this, a mass-preserving level set advection equation formulated as a scalar sign-distance function is proposed. The key innovation of the Eulerian solver lies in the incorporation of a scalar speed function for robust reconstruction of the classical level set equation. The effectiveness and reliability of the proposed flow solver in solving incompressible two-phase viscous flow equations are demonstrated through several benchmark problems. |
