Abstract
摘要:一、本校大一國文的宗旨與目標
培養學生優秀的本國語文能力,冀能有助於其生活就業應用所需;並提昇其人文素養,使之成為傑出之公民。
二、提升大一國文教學品質計畫的緣由
鑑於本地生語文能力每下愈況、人文素養日益低落,僑生、國際學生班級教學品質欠佳,並針對網路時代之特殊環境,特規畫提升大一國文教學品質計畫。
三、具體方案與預期效益
(一)聘請大一國文專案兼任教師
專案兼任教師的人力支援得以分擔專任教師的授課負擔,提升大一國文課程整體之教學成效;其中僑生、國際學生班更能維持每班20至30人之小班教學目標;同時使專任教師在教學負擔不過重的情形下,得以提升學術研究成效。
(二)舉辦僑生、國際學生華語文能力檢測
實施華語文能力檢測,鑑別僑生、國際學生的語文程度,依據考試結果為僑生與國際學生進行分級編班,使同班級的程度更為一致,教師得以依各班學生程度編選適用的教材。僑生、國際學生國文課的學習狀況將更理想,教學品質亦將獲得提升。
(三)舉辦國文輔助教學演講、教師研習活動、教學助理研習活動
國文領域之教學範疇不宜侷限於課堂所學,尚應接觸各領域知識,使學生視野更為開闊。為達成此一目標,本計畫每年皆安排數場「大一國文輔助教學演講」,邀請校內外各領域專家、學者,為大一新生提供課堂外豐富的藝文饗宴。
舉辦教師研習活動能充份掌握每位教師的教學狀況,並透過資深及教學優良教師傳授教學經驗與教學方法,使新進教師與僑生、國際學生班教師得以在最短的時間內掌握教學要領,維持整體大一國文教學品質。
本計畫需教學助理協助,為提升其支援教學活動之專業素養,針對相關工作內容舉辦研習講座,敦請經驗豐富之教師或專家講授相關知能,以提升教學助理協助計畫各項活動所需之能力。
(四)設立大一國文網站
自101學年度起,全體國文課程學生皆參與「經典閱讀寫作」活動,每班教師指定經典閱讀書目相關作業,學生撰寫完成後上傳至大一國文網站,由線上教學助理協助教師批閱,給予學生鼓勵與建議。自102學年度起,結合「教師推薦作品活動」,於作品集中開設「經典閱讀專區」,讓經典閱讀計畫與大一國文課程更加緊密配合,使學生自大一便接觸經典、閱讀經典,進而培養深厚的人文素養。
(五)設立經典閱讀網站
經典閱讀網站提供深入淺出的導讀文章,讓有心認識該經典的同學可以掌握閱讀要領。103年度起,將逐步增加經典之研究現況,介紹重要學者之研究成果,提供學生更深入了解經典豐富的內涵。
自101年度起,推出「經典閱讀護照闖關」活動,透過豐富且趣味的活動鼓勵學生閱讀經典。認證闖關遊戲的第一階段為選擇題,主要是測試學生對經典的基本認知。第二階段為申論題,同學的回答須超過三百字以上,並通過線上教學助理核可,方能得到該書的認證,累積認證本數便可獲得獎狀、獎金與精美紀念品。
透過以上各項方案與活動,應能有效提升本校學生語文能力及人文素養,並提供僑生、國際學生良好的教學品質。
Abstract: I. Aims of NTU’s Freshman Chinese
The aims of this course are to help students to improve their Chinese language skills for everyday life and for better job prospects, to strengthen their humanistic quality, and to become prominent citizen.
II. Intention of the Improvement Program
We implemented this program in response to the deteriorating Chinese proficiency and humanistic quality of the native students, to the overseas Chinese and international students’ needs, and the particular Environment of internet period in specific learning situations with specific goals.
III. Outline and expected benefits of the Improvement Program
1.Employ project part-time lecturer for Freshman Chinese
Project part-time lecturers are able to share the full-time lecturers` loads, as well as improve the effect of Freshman Chinese. Furthermore, the overseas Chinese and international students’ classes can maintain the target of 20-30 persons/class. These make full-time lecturers to improve the proficiency of their researches by decreasing the lectures load.
2.Chinese Proficiency Test for International and Overseas Chinese Students
Holding the Chinese Proficiency Test for International and Overseas Chinese Students to appraise the language skill of all non-Taiwanese students. The result will turn into the equal diversion of each class, and easier for selecting the teaching materials.
3.Holding teaching aid speech and lecturers training workshop and TA in-service training.
“Chinese” course shall no longer confine to language classes, but need to involve in multi-culture and other professional fields. For that reason, our project team keen to invite the specialists to have a speech to assist and expand the coverage of lectures.
The team will get to know about the teaching circumstances of each and every lecturers through the training workshops. While senior lecturers were sharing their experiences and teaching method, junior lecturers can pick up the essentials much more easier.
In order to enhance the abilities of TA, the speech and workshop which given by the related fields professors will be held among each semester.
4.Freshman Chinese Website
All students are required to participant the “Writing Activities of Classical” from the academic year of 101. Every class will have their own individual assignment and need to upload the work onto Ceiba website. These assignment will be marked by teaching assistants prescheduled. The selection of “Lecturers’ recommendation” has combined into the “Classical Reading Section” from the academic year of 102 to make both activities combine more neatly.
5.Classics Reading Website
The website can provides review of the selected classical written by teaching assistants mentioned above, and from the academic year of 103, they also start to provide the research review to lead the further reading.
The project team also design the “classical reading challenge” to embrace participants. While the first challenge gone through the objective question, the second challenge will be the 300 words short essay. The participants can get commendation and gifts if they can passed through these challenges.
Upon full project implementation, it is envisioned that the teachers are able to improve students` Chinese language skills and broaden their humanistic quality, and provide more satisfying learning experiences for overseas Chinese and international students and help them steadily.
