Description

Abstract
摘要:本團隊於過去兩年之研究成果中,闡明了無隔膜電解水作為消毒抑菌用途之高效潛能,同時具有可空氣噴霧防疫與表面噴灑抑菌之多重用途,並且具有製造成本經濟,製備原料易得等優勢,且亦針對製備條件、裝置設計與細菌致病原活性抑制等層面有所掌握。研究團隊由本年伊始,加入台大獸醫專業學院教授群,擬深入針對畜舍環境中其他兩大致病原要角-病毒性致病原與寄生蟲進行全面殺滅效能驗證,同時針對電解水運用之飼養動物生理健康效應進行臨床評估。此外,另一部分之設備研發端,希冀於北、中、南建立示範點,實場安裝空氣噴霧防疫裝置
,提升此技術之能見度。此外,為減低臨床獸醫、相關技術人員與一般大眾暴露於致病原之健康風險,本案擬以動物園為測試場所,研擬適於人員臨床作業時施用之防疫措施。鑑於我國與世界均對於農業生技產業由生產導向與糧食需求,轉型為提升生活品質與永續發展之未來願景之下,研擬兼具經濟、永續、有效之安全農業消毒策略勢必成為發展要角,而本案之無隔膜電解水研究正恰為所需。本案今年擬由臨床安全評估、致病原全面抑制與設備推廣示範等三大主軸,希冀可深植我國健康抗疫措施根基,優化永續防治疾病能量,各分項次研究成果與預期
效益如下:
1.透過針對病毒性致病原、寄生蟲蟲卵與卵囊之臨床殺滅測試,搭配去年研究中針對細菌、真菌之測試結果,將可全面廓清無隔膜電解水對於畜舍作業環境中各類型致病原之消毒抑制效能。
2.針對空氣噴霧策略部分,病毒致病原之暴露艙測試可釋明電解水水霧之殺滅機制與有效條件,如此方能有效全面削減空氣傳播致病原,是為實場防疫措施之關鍵。此外,本案以動物園為示範場所研擬無隔膜電解水全面消毒之防疫措施,可有效維護相關從業人員之職業衛生、同時顧及社會大眾之環境安全。
3.消毒藥劑之應用應兼顧殺菌效能與安全性。透過電解水噴霧對於飼養實驗動物之生理效應影響評估,將可更為釐清電解水應用之限制性與健康風險,俾使廣大使用者安心。
4.無隔膜電解水兼具成本低廉、有效抑菌、健康安全之發展潛力,若能有效推展深入民間,成為消毒藥劑之新選擇,勢必能有助於2005年行政院BTC會議我國農業生技產業願景中2015年之農業化學品使用量減半發展目標之完善達成。
Abstract: The common used disinfectants, such as quaternary ammonium compounds,hypochlorites, acids, bases, and antibiotic recipes, can effectively prevent the spreading of pathogens. However, production and use of these disinfectants cause undesirable side effects like environmental hormones, residual toxicity, and even the evolution of drugresistant pathogens. Thus, this project aims to develop an effective, user-friendly and safe disinfection technology based on electrolyzed water. And we plan to apply this technology to assist epidemic and zoonosis prevention in agriculture ultimately. We have studied the application of membraneless electrolyzed water to prevention of bacterial zoonoses since year 2007 and have achieved the following things: demonstration of
the use of electrolyzed water for animal house disinfection and egg cleaning; development of equipment prototypes for ex situ and in situ electrolyed water production; feasibiliy evaluation by cost and biosafety. On the basis of these results, we have established lab protocols and relevant techniques to study the conditions and mechanisms to inhibit the spreading of bacterial pathogens based on electrolyzed water in 2008. Also, we have developed equipments and platform technologies to demonstrate the application of electrolyzed water to animal-house disinfection. Besides, we have demonstrated the potential and cost effectiveness of electrolyzed water technique for the prevention of zoonoses. To accelerate the real application of this technology, this year
(2009) we will focus on (1) strengthening the fundamentals of the disinfection and epidemic prevention capability (tests on viruses and parasites), (2) evaluating the technology safety (using animal models), and (3) expanding the field-application test (building up demo sites) for membraneless electrolyzed water technology. To sum up, the outcome of this project will benefit the technology development for zoonosis prevention and quarantine and assist the achievement of sustainable agriculture in our country.
