摘要：臺灣位於地震帶上，地震防災是一個重要的課題，因此當大地震發生後，地震的震度分布圖是災情判斷的一項重要資訊，越詳細的震度圖，越能掌握防救災之契機。本計劃擬蒐集低價位加速度計的地震測站資訊(共513個測站)，探討將其加入繪製震度圖之可行性分析，最後與氣象局的資料進行合併，得到更詳細的即時震度分布資訊、破裂方向以及地形場址效應的結果。
Abstract: Taiwan is located at a plate boundary zone with high seismicity. The determination of a shaking map following the occurrence of a large earthquake is important to the rapid assessment of seismic hazard and emergency response. The high shaking regions of the shaking map could indicate the locations of damage. In this project, we propose an integration of Palert network (513 low-cost MEM sensors installed in Taiwan) and existing seismic network to provide a more detailed real-time shaking map, which is valuable additional information for understanding earthquake rupture direction and site amplification effect.
