Abstract
摘要:本計畫為能源國家型科技計畫「地熱與天然氣水合物主軸中心」天然氣水合物「資源特性評估」項下的「天然氣水合物儲集系統精密觀測與取樣-臺美與臺德合作計畫」。主要成員包含總主持人劉家瑄、子計畫主持人林曉武、戚務正、陳明德以及協同研究員賴美津與蘇志杰等人。本計畫接續並整合103-105 年度執行之「臺灣西南海域天然氣水合物儲集層特性與能源潛力評估」以及「臺灣西南海域天然氣水合物資源:臺德合作探勘計畫」兩計畫,在106與107兩個年度的計畫執行期間將針對臺灣西南海域滲漏型天然氣水合物好景區,經由臺美合作引進高精度海床調查與採樣技術以及臺德合作引進MeBo深海淺鑽設備,來對臺灣西南海域滲漏型天然氣水合物儲集系統進行觀測與採樣,並整合儲集層特性研究成果,評估我國天然氣水合物資源潛能,以及探討滲漏型天然氣水合物系統對海洋化學、地質以及生物特性之影響。本計畫將聚焦在兩個目標:(1)引進先進技術對滲漏型天然氣水合物系統進行精密海床調查與採樣; (2)天然氣水合物儲集層分析與滲漏天然氣對環境之影響。本計畫規劃在2017年至2018年上半年間,結合能源國家型計劃天然氣水合物計畫研究團隊、台灣海洋科技研究中心(TORI)與美方MBARI與WHOI等單位,利用海研一號及TORI新研究船,進行三個階段的AUV、miniROV與ROV的探測工作;另與德方MARUM與GEOMAR兩單位合作,爭取德國R/V Sonne航次,在2018年下半年利用MeBo在臺灣西南海域擇定地點進行天然氣水合物淺鑽採樣工作。同時也將依據新收集來的資料分析結果,持續更新天然氣水合物儲集層模式及評估其能源潛能。
Abstract: This project entitled “Taiwan-US and Taiwan-Germany collaborative research on high resolution observation and precision sampling of gas Hydrate reservoir systems offshore Southwestern Taiwan” under the “Geothermal and Gas Hydrate Focused Center” of the National Energy Program Phase II aims to investigate the leakage type gas hydrate systems offshore southwestern Taiwan using AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle, miniROV and ROV (remotely operated vehicle) through Taiwan-US collaboration, and to conduct seafloor shallow drilling using the German MeBo system. This project succeeds and integrates two previous projects, entitled “Gas hydrate reservoir characterization and energy potential estimation offshore southwestern Taiwan” and “Gas hydrate resources investigation offshore southwestern Taiwan – Taiwan-Germany collaboration”, to get a better understanding of methane seepages and their impacts on deep-sea environment. The main objectives of this project are: (1) Taiwan-US and Taiwan-Germany collaborative research on high resolution seafloor investigation and precision sampling in the gas hydrate seepage sites offshore SW Taiwan; and (2) Gas hydrate reservoir characterization and thermo-modeling of gas hydrated related fluid seepages. The project team members include Char-Shine Liu (master project leader), Saulwood Lin, Wu-Cheng Chi, and Min-Te Chen (three sub-project leaders, respectively), together with Mei-Chin Lai (biological research project team leader) and Chih-Chieh Su (geohazard research project team member) to cover a full spectrum of gas hydrate reservoir characterization and precision sampling data analyses. Taiwan-US collaborative AUV, miniROV and ROV cruises with MBARI and WHOI will be carried out by using R/V ORI and TORI new research vessel, respectively, to collect gas hydrate and related seafloor samples in 2017 and in the first half of 2018. Taiwan-Germany collaborative MeBo drilling will be conducted with MARUM and GEOMAR in the 2nd half of 2018 by using R/V Sonne to recover long cores at specific gas hydrate seepage sites. Through precise sampling with investigation tools to collect gas hydrate and related samples, we will continue to analyze various marine geochemical, geological, geophysical and biogeochemical data to characterize the gas hydrate reservoirs investigated and update the gas hydrate reservoir models offshore SW Taiwan.
