Dr. Hsu is a clinical researcher whose research centers on gait and posture in people with movement disorders. Dr. Hsu has been involved in numerous human movement research projects. She has formulated research studies based on clinical observations and has made valuable contributions to many research projects. She also continues her clinical practice as a physical therapist at National Taiwan University Hospital. Dr. Hsu and her teams have extensive experience in characterizing movement patterns in patients with spinal disease and poor balance control as well as analyzing the effect of rehabilitation and surgical interventions on movement functions. Her research aims to improve the understanding of interjoint coordination in postural control, and it provides a basis for developing tools to treat patients with sensorimotor deficits leading to balance disorders.
