Description
Breast cancer is the most common female cancer in Taiwna, and it is a particular issue of women’s health. Therefore, The Breast Center was specially designed and introduced in 2006 by NTUH.It is integrated Patient Care、Research、Education and Prevention.The Center is a comprehensive multidisciplinary center. It provides patient-centered care、 high quality breast care and efficient services. All of programs are arranged in a cozy and private environment ensuring a comfortable stay for all patients.
The breast center has an expert team of breast specialists, high skilled medical professionals and state-of-the-art technology. Its facilities include not only digital mammography, high-frequency ultrasound and digital breast MRI, but also all kinds of image-guided breast biopsy devices. In the meantime, physicians in this center participate in innovate research programs, including domestic and international clinical trials and translational research, to help patients. As part of the renowned NTUH, the center will be developed as a leading role in diagnose and treatment of breast cancer in Taiwan.
