Dr. Cheng conducts research on psychosocial and policy aspects of occupational safety and health (OSH). Her recent work concerns mental health at work, workers’ compensation policies, the impacts of information and communication technology on OSH management, and safety and health issues among the public health and long-term care sectors. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and has authored three books addressing occupational health issues in Taiwan. In 2013, She co-founded a non-governmental organization – the Taiwan Occupational Safety and Health Link – to advocate for occupational health policy reforms and to promote occupational health rights.
關注社會心理與政策層面的職場安全健康議題。近期研究關注職場心理健康、職災補償、資通訊科技對職場安全健康管理的影響，以及公衛部門與長期照顧領域的職業安全健康議題。曾擔任臺大公共衛生學系系主任(2019~2022)，自2022年八月起擔任健康政策與管理研究所所長。現為台灣公衛學會常務理事、Annals of Work Exposures and Health編輯委員。2013年，與友人共同創立「社團法人台灣職業安全健康連線」並擔任創會理事長(2013-2019)。
