藉由探究SPINT1-AS1在肺癌的作用，可以探究如何造成EGFR TKI抗藥性的形成，進一步研究如何調控腫瘤免疫檢查點(PD-L1)的表現以及對腫瘤微環境的免疫抑制作用，以及探究免疫藥物的治療效果，從中找出未知的調控機制，除了可以更了解腫瘤免疫的作用，也將對肺癌治療開創一個新的時代。
