Description
齒頸部外吸收及多發性特發性齒頸部牙根吸收, 發生率低且致病機轉不明，臨床診斷與治療非常有挑戰性。由於無法預防且有復發之現象，導致牙齒功能與美觀的問題。迫切需要闡明其病理機制，以促進有效的預防和治療策略的開發。本計畫之執行將增進我們對此疾病病因之瞭解，有助於臨床診斷並發展輔助療法，有效阻止牙根吸收進一步破壞。本計畫所找出致病基因可提供基因檢測之參考。此外，本研究成果將使我們更瞭解齒頸部區域牙周組織恆定之基因與調控機轉，進而可應用於牙齒外傷及矯正醫學之研究。
