微生物體學在近年來，快速的發展累積的大量資訊，需要系統性的整合才能發揮其效益。本計畫已發找一套知識整合系統，著重在微生物與疾病關聯性的研究，藉由自動化資訊擷取，加速知識的整合，並可利用整合後的資訊進行未知微生物-疾病關係與分子機制的預測。本計畫的成果，有助於了解微生物與疾病之間的調控關係，促進相關診斷與治療策略的發展。
