Description
腎臟纖維化目前尚無治療藥物，屬於一種臨床未被滿足醫療需求之疾病。本計畫旨在發展強效抑制CDK8活性且具高度選擇性之先導化合物，在各種慢性腎臟疾病進展中普遍發生的腎臟纖維化中評估其抑制作用並探討機轉，隨後於動物疾病模型中 進行確效並進行毒理評估，期望開發為用於遏止腎臟纖維化之治療藥物。若能研發成功，除了對患者的健康及生活品質有很大的助益外，在經濟層面上也具有龐大的利基。且研發過程除對腎臟纖維化之機轉調控有更深的認識外，也將培育藥物研發 人才。
