Description
計畫利用細胞轉染讓N-乙醯葡萄糖胺轉移酶(GnT-V)的基因進入細胞內，研究指出軟骨細胞的N醣基表現和退化性關節炎的惡化有關，葡萄糖胺也常被運用在膝關節的症狀改善，因此本計畫推測改變軟骨細胞上N醣基結構，有機會增加軟骨細胞的增生能力及其幹性，此已在其他細胞獲得證實，且若能同時改變細胞外的環境，增加細胞外葡萄糖胺的濃度，則可藉由同時改變細胞內外的條件，調控軟骨細胞和其細胞外基質的交互作用產生正面的影響。
