Abstract
This project analyzes the information seeking
and information retrieval of college and graduate
students in National Taiwan University when they are
using PsycLIT database. This project collects 10 real
search questions from end-users. After instructions, 31
project searchers were assigned to search the above 10
questions, doing 59 searches. This study compares the
differences between end-users and project searchers
concerning search concepts, search terms, and mental
models. It also attempts to establish relationships
between questions and the above factors.
