Abstract
Crystal oscillators (XO) are widely used in electronic systems, providing low-jitter and temperature-stable reference clock signals. The inherent frequency accuracy of XO is good of ± 10ppm within a range of -40 ~ 80°C. However, to have a better accuracy of < ± 5ppm for certain applications with harsh operating conditions (e.g. GPS and aerospace), a low-power temperature-compensated XO (TCXO) is desired.
