Abstract
We demonstrate significant efficiency enhancement of ITO-free OLEDs by combining both the high-conductivity conducting polymer PEDOT: PSS as the transparent electrode and the solution-processed nano-composite scattering films as optical extraction layers. The external quantum efficiency (EQE) of ITO-free device can be significantly enhanced by a factor of 1.8 at 1000 cd/m2. © 2012 SID.
