Abstract
This study was designed to investigate social
responsibility of professional baseball team
(PBT) perceived by athletes, amateur, team
administrator and audience. Firstly, Social
Responsibility Scale was developed by
conducting focus interview with 14 persons
related to professional baseball team
(PBT).Social responsibility of PBT could be
divided four factors, named sportsmanship,
equipment quality, community mutuality and
return to society, after conducting factor
analysis with 549 persons. Secondly,
different persons perceived different social
responsibility such as Athlete Perceived
higher social responsibility then audience and
team administer. These results have some
implications on PBT management and baseball sports.
