Click to increase image sizeClick to decrease image size Abstract The fan?type structure is analyzed with the aim of providing a broadband antenna for HF application. The works include theoretical and experimental investigations from which, valuable information can be provided for further references. Also contained in this paper are some useful results such as theoretical current distributions and radiation patterns, theoretical and experimental curves for antenna input impedances and standing wave ratios, and the data concerning number of antenna wires, width to height ratio, and thickness parameters, etc.
