Abstract
Experiment applies Ink-Jet Printing method to generate binary stable free droplets and collide-merged droplet fall along their path into high temperature environment. Paraffins, Alcohol and Benzene are used in this experiment. We will discuss some combustion characteristics such as burning rates, ignition delay, flame shrinkage and the micro-explosion phenomenon.
According to the experiment results, we find that the immiscible collide-merged droplets make the ignition delay increasing. Alcohol mix with benzene can increase the burning rate of the fuel.
