Abstract
本研究旨在瞭解國中生吸菸知識、態度與行爲之現況,及其影響因素。研究對 象爲學校衛生護理模式兩所實驗國中的學生,採分層隨機抽樣方式。研究樣本 包括甲校1417人,乙校1292人,共計2709人。結果顯示前吸菸的國中生有3.8%,曾經 吸菸者則達五分之一。男生吸菸率爲女生的4倍。仍吸菸的國中生目前的吸菸 量以平均每週少於5支者佔多數;開始吸菸的時間以國小五、六年級最多;吸菸的場 所以游樂場所和家中最多;吸第一支菸的原因多基於好奇;吸菸的情況多爲一 個人無聊時、別人給煙和遇到挫折或心煩時;吸菸伙伴爲朋友或同學;香菸的 主要來源爲自己買和同學或朋友給的。國中生吸菸行爲與同輩團體的吸 菸情況有密切關系,且與學生的吸菸態度和知識有關,吸菸知識和吸菸態度亦呈正相 關。影響國中生吸菸知識、態度和行爲有關的因素有學生特質和家庭環境因素 ,如性別、智育成績、父母社會階層、父母婚姻狀況及管教方式。建議採取有效的措 施減少國中生吸菸並協助吸菸者戒煙。 The purpose of this study was to understand the knowledge, attitude and behavior on tobacco smoking among the junior high school students and to explore influencing factors. Study subjects were students of two junior high schools in the School Health Nursing Model Experimental Program. Stratified random sampling was used. There were 1417 from school A and 1292 from school B with a total of 2709 students. Study results revealed that about 3.8%students were current smokers, most of them smoked less than 5 cigarettes weekly. The smoking rate for male students was four times that of female students. Over one fifth of the students had smoking experiences. Most of them started smoking during grades 5-6. The places for smoking were mostly at the amusement park or in their own homes. The reason for first time they smoked was mostly out of curiosity. The students smoked when they felt they had nothing to do, when they were offered cigarettes by others and when frustrated. For the most part, friends or classmates accompanied them in smoking, they bought the cigarettes themselves or received them from friends or classmates. The tobacco smoking behavior of the junior high school students was strongly related to peer pressure and was related to their knowledge of and attitude toward tobacco smoking. Their knowledge of tobacco smoking was positively related to their attitude. Factors influencing students'smoking knowledge, attitude and behavior were personal characteristics and family environment, such as: students'gender, students'grade, parents' social class, parents' marital status and methods of discipline. Recommendations were made to prevent students from smoking and help them cease smoking
