Abstract
A dual-frequency InSAR imaging technique is proposed to estimate the position and motion parameters of a moving target, including velocity and cross-track acceleration. Conventional methods of estimating the velocity and acceleration of a moving target, from the phase information of bistatic SAR signal, are usually compromised by phase ambiguity. By applying the dual-frequency technique, phase ambiguity is effectively removed to ascertain accurate estimation of motion parameters. In addition, an alternative method is proposed to estimate different velocity components, by taking higher-order terms and solving coupled linear equations of the velocity components. The simulation results verify that the errors of velocity and acceleration are less than 1 m/s and 0.25 m/s2, respectively.
