Abstract
Abstract The linear predictive method is a potential technique in digital speech processing. However, the same processing applied to the feature extraction of an electrocardiogram shows some basic differences. The residual error signal (R. E. S.) should receive much more emphasis and study than the linear predictive coefficients (L. P. C.) in electrocardiographic applications.
