Abstract
In this study, we developed an all-reflective optical tracking system design with a common optical path to achieve multiband monitoring and transmission. The system was composed of a small telescope and integrated with a Cassegrain configuration and a relay configuration using four conic reflective mirrors. A rotating flat mirror enabled target tracking and introduced image rotation. A de-rotation mirror system was placed between the two configurations. The de-rotation mirror angles, position, and height were optimized to minimize the size of the system integration. Additionally, the system was equipped with baffles to prevent the image quality from being adversely affected. The system performance was validated through simulation and analysis using CodeV and LightTools software analysis tools.
