Abstract
This three year joint project seeks to provide a uniform portal for various websites
sponsored by the three most prominent professional associations in English Literature and other
related fields in Taiwan. （A project based at Fu Jen University, specializing in teaching literature
is also incorporated） The integrated portal will be established at the National Science Council
Humanities Research Center located at Taiwan University.
The main task of the project is to unify and streamline the Communication System between
the existent websites and the prospective portal, with a view to facilitating easy exchange of
information by electronic means.
It is expected that the vast local and overseas research materials will as a result become
easily accessible to all researchers and teachers in Taiwan.
The project “Online Research Resources for Comparative Literary Studies in Taiwan” will
restructure and expand current online research materials on the website of “Comparative
Literature Association of the Republic of China.” The main purpose is to provide a base for
online exchange among scholars interested in common research subjects.
