Abstract
The purpose of the research is to building a remote health-care unit which based on embedded system and integrated physiological sensor device and GPS (Global Positioning System) .The operation system running on the device is Linux which can amend source code .The device is used to providing physiological and position information of user to remote nursing workers for monitoring physiological status and position .The visual impaired walking assisting device is configured as a gateway which links networks with different communication technology . The communication between physiological sensor device , GPS and embedded system is using Bluetooth technology . On the other hand , the communication between embedded system and the server is using GSM module .The experiment propose to verify trusty and stability of the system.xperiment for trusty , we test for the correctness and the consuming of the time for transmitting . For the stability , we test for the working status after long time operating . The user interface on the server is focusing on the readableness of data and easy to use. So that the doctor can know the status of the user. According to the result of experiment the research has completed a remote health-care unit which based on embedded system.
