Abstract
A two-stage method for the preparation of -doped is reported. It was observed that the emission intensity is significantly enhanced up to 30% by the two-stage method. The critical concentration of was found to be and the critical radius was . The broad excitation band and strong emission indicate that the phosphor could be a good green-phosphor candidate for creating white light in phosphor-converted white light-emitting diodes (LEDs).
