Abstract
It is a current trend to downscale in lots of commercial product, optical systems are no exception. Reflective optics is a technology not only can make the space application become more efficient and flexible, but also has the advantage that it induces low chromatic aberrations. n this thesis, two image systems combining reflective and refractive optics are studied. The first system is a compact auto-focus image system with MEMS deformable mirror that can cover a 2M pixel image sensor with pixel size 2.2μm × 2.2μm. It is only 5.4mm in thickness before package and 6.7mm in thickness after package. The second system is a compact head-up display (HUD) for automobile features both functions of head-up display (HUD) system and instrument panel with only one source.
