Abstract
By studying industrial spatial organization of industrial geography, this research illustrate the particularity and the representation of industrial development in Tao-Yuan Area in Taiwan, specified in "developing process", "structural transformation", and "spatial distribution" of Tao-Yuan Area industry development.
First, by the way of discussion of the developing process, an attempt is to understand the industry condition and the tendency of different phases in Tao-Yuan Area and communication with the Taiwan post-war economy development context. Moreover, through the documents and data analysis, the major influence on the development of Tao-Yuan Area is derived from its geographic and political factors. Secondly, compared with the transition of industrial structure in Taiwan, the main impact over Tao-Yuan area is external environment factors. Accordingly the industrial structure connection between Tao-Yuan Area and Taiwan is obviously perceived. Third, an attempt is to understand the change of Tao-Yuan Area in different period. Due to the spatial change caused by internal and external environment, the transition of industrial distribution of time and space is under analysis. Policy, fundamental construction and local development are concluded to be the main causes of this transition.
Finally concluding the coefficient of industrial spatial organization in Tao-Yuan Area is Taiwan post-war economy development context, which is concluded influence of international circumstance and localization development thoughts of northern Taiwan and Tao-Yuan Areas.
