Abstract
The propose of the research project is aiming to examine that biotechnology applies on
investigation report of criminal evidence. To what extence, the biotechnology science could
meet the principles of investigated evidence qualification, according to criminal evidence
law. It would occur great difficulties on criminal justice, due to current investigated report
of criminal justice; it could not be able to provide sufficient information based on
professional background, general principles, and addition to in part of insufficient
professional acknowledgements of criminal lawman.
Thus, it would be necessary to develop a harmony integration of criminal justice and
biotechnology via positivism research. On one hand, it is able to enhance the quality of
criminal evidence, and on the other hand, it would increase the credibility of investigated
evidence by criminal lawman.
It seems to be necessary to open the field which academic research and institutions have
developed advance theories in great interests in abroad, however, criminology has not been
able to provide sufficient information in Taiwan.
The propose of the project is to ensure the integration of biotechnology and molecular
biotechnology involved into the field of criminal justice. Moreover, joint researchers and
research assistants with molecular biotechnological background would able to analysis deepen fields and apply on interdisciplinary integration.
The project is to establish investigated principles and the database of rules of criminal
evidence via the combination of law and molecular biotechnology. Also, it would expect to
collect and analyse criminal evidence reports, prosecute reports, decision reports and lawful
information islandwide, within 6000 working hours and about 250 times people
discussions.
Finally, it would be the first time criminal justice has combined various experts
including law and molecular biotechnology; and approached interdisciplinary integration.
Thus, the result would provide positive meanings and increase the knowledge of criminal
justice.
