Abstract
Enterprises which desire to develop global brand and to sell products to the global market must have a distribution channel and after-sales service network. Enterprises which can control spare part inventory efficiently will have advantages in supporting the network, so the ability of inventory management becomes one of the key factors of enterprise development.
This thesis contains three parts. In the first part, a dynamic system model for service networks is described. In the second part, the calculation procedure of spare part requirements is presented. In the third part, the calculation procedure is applied to the problem of the minimum order quantity.
