Abstract
Complex perovskite materials
were successfully synthesized via
the solid-state and sol-gel
methods.The difference between
the solid-state and sol-gel
methods was investigated.It was
found that the crystallinity of the
powders varied with the annealing
temperatures.When the annealing
temperature was raised,the
photocatalytic activity of the
powders increased first,and
decreased later.Barium tantalum
cobalt oxide was found to have
improved photocatalytic activity
than the other materials based on
the study on degradation of
methyleneblue.The UV-Vis diffuse
reflectance spectra showed that the complex perovskite materials
absorbed visible light.These
powders were also found to be
active for organic decomposition
through the photocatalytic
reaction under visible light
irradiation.
