Abstract
In this paper, potential antenna technologies are presented for 6G applications at sub-terahertz frequencies to reduce the propagation loss in the air and dielectric substrates. The proposed work employs a homogeneous uniform lens-based architecture excited by multiple single antenna elements. The feed antennas have simple structures for dual-polarized radiations without implementing any sophisticated microstrip line beamforming circuits to form the directional beams. Numerical simulations by HFSS are presented to validate the concept and demonstrate the feasibility. ? 2021 Taiwan Microwave Association.
