Abstract
The Bulletin of the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology (or The Bulletin of the Department of Anthropology after 1983) has been
one of the most important journals that archaeological articles published. If articles can expose the perspectives and concerns archaeologists hold,
then to analyze on the papers the journal published might present the development trajectory of archaeology in Taiwan. The main theme of
this article is to analyze on the papers The Bulletin of the Department of Anthropology published during last 53 years to learn the development
of Taiwanese Archaeology and the growth path of Department of Anthropology, National Taiwan University as well.
