Abstract
More recently, a centralized traffic-aware scheduling algorithm(TASA)for IEEE 802. 15.4e time slotted channel hopping (TSCH) has been proposed that yields a low latency scheduling mechanism compared to existing scheduling algorithms. TASA employs an attractive scheduling approach with the aid of network topology and global information. In this paper, we investigate the effects of creating the schedule only using the local information in the network. The communication reliability of the proposed algorithms is evaluated in terms of packet delivery ratio and end-to-end delay. Simulation results show that the proposed scheduling algorithms based on local information can achieve the same performance as TASA with global information. ? 2019 IEEE.
