Abstract
In this thesis, a novel multilayered lumped-element band-pass filter with a transmission zero will be designed and measured. A complete design and implementation procedure is
proposed to reduce the design cycle. Design example using FR4, covering from 900 MHz to 4 GHz, is demonstrated. By using the stripline structure and vias, coupling between different stages is significantly reduced. The new design procedure has been verified by simulation and measurement on several examples.
