Abstract
This is a case study about nursing in medical industry, probing into how body performance and space participate in the process of gender construction and influence the operation of medical industry. Through the daily body job of nursing, the whole nursing life revealed. First, I examined the representation of nurses in the media and figure out what the gendered nursing body performance is in the eye of the people. How does this gendered body performance manipulate the daily interaction of nursesNULL Secondly, I try to find out how the daily lives discipline the gendered body and reproduce human resources successfully. Finally, through the concepts of space and parody, we discuss how space constructs an alternative gendered body performance.
