Abstract
We present fully relativistic spin-polarised band structure calculations for UPt3 in an applied magnetic field of 25 T. This field changes dramatically the energy bands crossing the Fermi level. Moreover, our results are strongly dependent on the direction of the magnetic field. We comment on the implications of our findings on the interpretation of the de Haas-van Alphen data. © 1993.
