Abstract
The influence of vibrational excitation on the reaction Li(2 2PJ) + H2(v = 1) → LiH(X 1∑+) + H was studied. The simulated Raman pumping (SRP) technique was used for the study of the effect of vibrational excitation. The vibrational excitation caused the enlargement of the H2 bond distance that facilitated the reaction.
