Abstract
Treatment of cyclic diaminocarbene tungsten complexes (CO)5W=CNRCH2CH2NH [R=Ph, Et] with acylating agents resulted in the formation of isocyanide complexes via the cleavage of C-N bond. Crystal structure of (CO)5WCN(CH2)2N(Ph)COPh 2a was determined.
