Abstract
In recent years, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technique has widely used in digital television broadcast system (DVB),wireless LAN 802.11a/g. Even the Forth generation of mobile communication in the future will also apply this technique .However, the multimedia service nowadays is mainly about fixed access. Because, in mobile transportation,it still could not perform well for the bandwidth of multimedia ,which is caused by the Doppler effect during mobile and the multi-path interference in the urban area.
Therefore,in this thesis, I will present how to improve the synchronization symbol timing estimation technique in the mobile environment ,in order to get better performance .
