Abstract
This three year joint project seeks to provide a
uniform portal for various websites sponsored by
the three most prominent professional associations
in English Literature and other related fields in
Taiwan (a project based at Fu Jen University,
specializing in teaching literature is also
incorporated). The integrated portal will be
established at the National Science Council
Humanities Research Center located at Taiwan
University. The main task of the project is to unify
and streamline the Communication System between
the existent websites and the prospective portal,
with a view to facilitating easy exchange of
information by electronic means. The software and
hardware systems for database have been
implemented using the up-to-date and
well-recognized techniques. The collaborated
colleagues have been constructed data for database
of research papers, database of teaching materials,
and database of experts.
