Abstract
The title complex, [Cu(C2F3O2)(C 2H3O2)(C10H9N 3)], has been prepared. The CuII cation has a slightly distorted square-pyramidal environment, with a basal plane formed by two N atoms of the di-2-pyridylamine ligand and two O atoms of the acetate group. The apical position is occupied by an O atom of the trifluoroacetate group. Two molecules related by a crystallographic center of symmetry are linked into a dimer by hydrogen bonds and further hydrogen bonds link the dimers into sheets. © 2005 International Union of Crystallography Printed in Great Britain - all rights reserved.
