Abstract
In recent years, various multi-core architectures have become popular se- lections for the designs of battery-aware devices. It is important that devices have long operating time. In this paper, a cooperating-based approach is pro- posed to deal with device part scheduling and a reserving-based method is proposed to cope with processing unit part scheduling. DPM(Dynamic Power Management) is used on device part and DVFS(Dynamic Voltage Frequency Scaling) is used on processing unit part. The power saving ratio is evaluated by a series of simulation.
